    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br>Responsible for supporting Actuarial Management</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned<br>Senior Actuarial Analysts participate in the Actuarial Rotation program which provides the opportunity to rotate to a different team approximately every 3 years. Rotations can be internal (core Actuarial, such as Commercial/Medicare pricing and reserves) or external (non-Actuarial teams with Actuarial-related work, such as Segment, Value-Based Provider Analytics, Financial Performance and Analysis, Pharmacy Analytics, etc.)<br>Support and analyze pricing, trend analytics, gross margin reporting, and financial reporting related to ACA, Medicare, Group, Reserves, Segment, and other teams<br>Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant<br>Segmentation support</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><p>2+ years related work experience to include successful, progressive professional work experience<br>Math/Statistics or related Bachelor's degree required<br>Minimum of 3 or more completed examinations from the Society of Actuaries (SOA)<br>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of management<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><p>Background in health field or insurance field<br>Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>General Physical Demands</strong><br>Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
