    "requisitionDescription": "<div><table border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" id=\"isPasted\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>Performs all level inspections, working to prescribed tolerances, to check and approve for quality, raw materials, parts in process, paintings and coatings, heat treating (verify Brinell hardness), components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, tooling, returned items, and parts and sub-assemblies received from subcontractors and suppliers, to meet Company standards and customer satisfaction. &nbsp;Inspects and certifies welds. &nbsp;Will follow supervisor&rsquo;s guidelines and company inspection procedures. &nbsp;Uses precision measuring instruments. &nbsp; &nbsp; Provides inspection reports and maintains required inspection records. &nbsp;Inspects per receiving inspection procedures for N.D.T. and receiving dock inspection.</p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><ol><li>Must have and maintain a current AWS-CWI certification.*</li><li>Performs visual inspection and certification of welds in accordance with API-8C.*</li><li>Conducts a variety of mechanical inspections, including, but not limited to, raw materials, incoming parts, and subassemblies from suppliers and subcontractors, first-run, random and final inspection working to prescribed tolerances.*</li><li>Makes visual and dimensional checks of raw materials, forgings, machined and fabricated parts, components, sub-assemblies, paintings and coatings, heat treating, final assemblies, tooling and returned items to assure quality production.*</li><li>May, when assigned, conduct inspection of items at outside vendors to pass on quality of processed or purchased items.*</li><li>Approves items for acceptance and/or production runs.*</li><li>Inspects and passes on final assemblies for shipment.*</li><li>Confers with QA Manager or Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor on rejects, determining the need for rework of parts or components and other problems detected through inspection.*</li><li>Uses precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, scales, calipers, and pertinent gages.*</li><li>Provides inspection reports and maintains required inspection records.*</li><li>Mag particle inspects castings, forgings, and weldments for receiving inspection and work in progress.*</li><li>Performs dye penetrant inspection of machined parts and forgings.*</li><li>Conducts visual and dimensional inspection of receiving dock inventory.*</li><li>Performs in process inspection on the paint line and the galvanizing department.*</li><li>Performs ultrasonic inspection,*</li><li>Conducts machine shop inspection.*</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.*</li></ol></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Special Location/Position Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>&nbsp;</p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Job Specifications (Work Experience, Skills, Abilities, etc.)&nbsp;</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><ul><li>3-5 years Mag and UT machine shop for measuring</li><li>Must have and maintain a current AWS-CWI certification</li><li>Ability to operate Jib cranes handling large parts safely</li><li>Mag certified to level II</li><li>UT certified to level II</li><li>Must operate Mag, UT and overhead hoists</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>High School/GED required. &nbsp;Vocational school preferred.</p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. &nbsp;Is subject to shop noise. &nbsp;Involves extensive standing and walking. &nbsp;Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards.
