    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a Dispatcher to support daily operations for a <strong>feed & grain trucking fleet.</strong> This role focuses on <strong>driver communication, load scheduling</strong> <strong>and route coordination</strong> in a fast-paced environment. In addition to the base salary range presented, this position will be incentive-eligible with a target of 10%.</em>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinating the schedule of truck drivers to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Maintaining communication with drivers throughout their shift to monitor progress and troubleshoot problems, and relaying information to the sales team and operations.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate trip records are recorded in the Transportation Management System.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.</li>\n <li>Addressing customer concerns or questions related to shipment and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n <li>Work with Truck Shop to ensure all trucks are up to date with any inspections, maintenance, and/or repairs.</li>\n <li>Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and productivity.</li>\n <li>Participates in analysis and review of operating performance.</li>\n <li>Monitor and track fleet movements using software and systems for better planning.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet their specific transportation needs.</li>\n <li>Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails throughout the day with proper and timely responses as needed.</li>\n <li>Able to participate in periodic work schedules that can include weekend or traditional shift work.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) year experience as a dispatcher or similar role</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem solving.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and handle stressful situations.</li>\n <li>Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors and employees in accordance with company policy.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirments</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequently required to: sit for prolonged periods of time, reach for/manipulate standard office equipment, communicate with various staff and/or reach for and manipulate objects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly exposed to dusty and noisy conditions.</li>\n <li>Occasionally exposed to outdoor/uncontrolled weather conditions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Note:</em></strong><em> Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of this position at any time.</em></p>\n<p><em>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
