We pay Unlimited Bonuses for Hired Service Employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Two (2) years or more of related work experience, preferred </li>\n <li>Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated customer service skills; must be able to understand customer's verbal communication</li>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li>\n <li>Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email; must be able to read and understand codes and instructions on the computer; must have basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry</li>\n <li>High degree of thoroughness and dependability</li>\n <li>Ability to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays</li>\n  <li>Work at different locations</li>\n  <li>Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)</li>\n  <li>Work independently and as a member of a team</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Flexibility to operate, and self-driven to excel, in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Capability for multi-tasking and highly organized, with excellent time management skills</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices</li>\n <li>Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred</li>\n <li>DOT Safety Regulated Position</li>\n <li>Safety Sensitive Position</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regulated Service Employee:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire</li>\n  <li>Pass a Ryder Drug Test</li>\n  <li>Pass a DOT physical</li>\n  <li>Pass a Ryder road test</li>\n  <li>Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three (3) years</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Fuel, wash and detail vehicles</li>\n <li>Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units as required by company policies and procedures; check tire pressure; check oil; report service issues to shop</li>\n <li>Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation</li>\n <li>Move heavy duty vehicles</li>\n <li>Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire repairs, initially under close supervision</li>\n <li>Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and policies; perform some facility maintenance and minor maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
