Description
· Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekend, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility.
· Fast paced environment
· Multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
· Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.
· Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Responsibilities
· Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
· Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
· Oversees attendant/receptionist employee relations, training, product levels, service standards and linen running for both male and female spa facilities.
· Held accountable for the Spa SOP standards of cleanliness and service.
· Works with management to ensure all linen, spa, and fitness inventory are at proper par levels.
· Ensures confidentiality with respect to guest and employee information.
· Assist with guest experience, checking in guests to lockers, providing tours and maintaining daily cleanliness of facility during operating hours.
· Ensuring policy and procedures are consistently followed.
· Maintain knowledge and understanding of treatments
· Maintain spa facility by performing necessary housekeeping duties (picking up towels, cups, shower & bathroom area, vanity area and all surrounding areas).
· Uphold spa décor by maintaining the set-up and cleanliness of the area.
· Give tours and describe the spa facility to all guests entering the facility.
· Provide beverage service to all guests
· Handles guest requests and questions in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
· Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits
· Comfortable around guests in a state of undress.
· Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle)
· Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy and a positive attitude.
· Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well organized work area
· Assist in all areas of the spa operation as directed by management
· Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications
· Previous Spa experience Recommended (1-2 year minimum)
· Must be able to read, write and interpret Spa related terminology including the various treatment modalities, equipment, and products.
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language
· An energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
· Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
