          "text": "<p>We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated professional to fill the position of Construction<br>\nSite Supervisor with Canam. This role requires travelling throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of USA.&#xa0;</p><p>As a member of our team, your responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Coordinate with plant coordinators (steel delivery, steel deck, joists, hardware), steel erectors (daily requests), and project managers.</li><li>Attend field meeting with other trades and summarize to the project manager.</li><li>Coordinate with the detailing/engineering department – field works, revision of drawings, clarifications (missing details).</li><li>Accept erection drawings (follow-up on acceptance dates).</li><li>Follow-up with transportation for deliveries issues.</li><li>Reception of materials and hardware (validate all delivery slips).</li><li>Daily site report (daily log – plan grid).</li><li>Assist the steel erector in repair requests (field work and deficiencies).</li><li>Quality control, visual only.</li><li>Assist health and safety coordinators.</li><li>Attend and participate in, on and off-site meetings; including, but not limited to, health and safety meetings.</li><li>Update daily site progress in Smartsheet.</li><li>Monitor schedules and update on a daily basis. Communicate with various stakeholders and the general contractor.</li><li>Manage on-site record-keeping, including but not limited to, daily site specific hazard assessments.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>The successful candidate will possess:</p><ul><li>Construction trade journeyman certificate or diploma.</li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years of construction site supervision experience.</li><li>Ability to read structural shop drawings, layouts and erection drawings is a must.</li><li>Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.</li><li>An autonomous results-oriented aptitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of construction schedules and Gantt charts.</li><li>Exceptional organizational abilities.</li><li>English communication skills (verbal and written).</li><li>Proficiency in computer system and software (Google Workspace).</li><li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.)</li><li>Ability to apply innovative and effective supervision and management techniques to maximize sub-trade performance.</li></ul>",
