    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong>The Production Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the production area while following all applicable safety regulations.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong>to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Follow all safety, food safety, &amp; GMP rules and regulations.</li><li>Keep work area clean and organized by practicing good housekeeping in the immediate work area.</li><li>Complete daily inspection of forklift.</li><li>Ensure all pallets are loaded properly and clearly communicate any issues to supervisor and reload pallets correctly.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure product is stocked in the proper location.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure trailers are loaded/unloaded using proper method.</li><li>Ability to use barcode scanner.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate, injuries, equipment/product damage and unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.&nbsp;</li><li>Work in a safe manner by following all company rules and regulations as instructed during job orientation and yearly required safety training.</li><li>Identify issues that he/she is not able to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Production Manager for assistance.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>None&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK INSTRUCTIONS TO POSITION &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>SOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Operator&rsquo;s manual available on each line.</p><p><strong>WORK SAFETY &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>BACKUP COVERAGE &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>In the absence of this position, another qualified Forklift Operator or Back-up Forklift Operator shall cover the absence.</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to attend all job related training classes to increase job knowledge and improve job performance. This also encourages confidence and sense of accomplishment.</p><p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator.</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong>COMPUTER SKILLS &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Data entry helpful.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;Successful completion of company forklift certification.
