This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support daily production, material handling, site maintenance, and overall quarry operations.</p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Operate heavy equipment used in mining and quarry operations, including loaders such as the Cat 992 and similar equipment.</li><li>Load and unload company and commercial trucks safely and efficiently.</li><li>Remove overburden and waste materials and transport materials to designated disposal or storage areas.</li><li>Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the quarry and work areas.</li><li>Conduct pre-operational inspections and perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.</li><li>Report equipment defects, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards promptly to supervision.</li><li>Follow all company policies, MSHA regulations, and safety procedures at all times.</li><li>Comply with daily operational procedures and instructions provided by supervisors.</li><li>Assist with additional duties as assigned to support quarry operations.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Valid California Driver&rsquo;s License required.</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating heavy construction or mining equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Quarry or mining experience preferred.</li><li>Previous MSHA training preferred.</li><li>Ability to work safely in a physically demanding outdoor environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of equipment safety and operational procedures.</li></ul><h2><br></h2></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
