A recruiter will be in touch when possible.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will I be doing? </span><span>Using your expertise in SQL database administration</span><span>, you will be providing support to</span> government and military stakeholders <span>to ensure intelligence professionals worldwide have the right access to the right data consistently through a variety of support services</span>. <span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In addition, you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide database administration and management support for Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) in a Microsoft SQL Server-based environment hosting databases across the supported networks for various .NET applications</li>\n<li>Maintain quality of service and availability of DCD RDMSs by establishing and enforcing organizational defined standards ensuring the performance, integrity and security of databases through daily system checks with 100% of findings and statuses being recorded to DCD IT Portal</li>\n<li>Ensure all SQL servers and instances have the latest DISA STIGs applied </li>\n<li>Ensure healthy and reliable data replication is maintained using technologies such as availability groups, etc.</li>\n<li>Configure and utilize database connectivity tools and utilities</li>\n<li>Research, test, and implement new versions of the Database Management System (DBMS) for inclusion into DCD infrastructure</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain database documentation</li>\n<li>Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans</li>\n<li>Review and complete assigned Daily System Checks</li>\n<li>Update configuration management data</li>\n<li>Monitor and assume responsibility of trouble tickets assigned to the Database Administration branch</li>\n<li>Provide restoration services sufficient to ensure high availability</li>\n<li>Provide after-hours on-site support, as needed, to respond to system/application malfunctions</li>\n<li>Perform regular database testing</li>\n<li>Conduct capacity planning and assist with storage and architecture design</li>\n<li>Produce entity relationship and data flow diagrams, and database normalization schemas that are logical to physical data maps and data table parameters</li>\n<li>Implement security requirements for least privileged access to organizational databases and monitor user access and security</li>\n<li>Map out a conceptual design for database enhancements</li>\n<li>Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to ‘front end’ users</li>\n<li>Manipulate database objects and develop stored procedures, stored functions, and packages when needed based on customer requirements</li>\n<li>Maintain, report, and update daily checklists<br></li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What experience, training, and education do I need?</span></p>\n<p>You must meet the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">minimum</span> requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Top Secret / SCI clearance and <span>able to take/pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.</span></li>\n<li>8 years experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment</li>\n<li>5 years experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations</li>\n<li>5 years experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions</li>\n<li>3 years experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members’ work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines</li>\n<li>3 years experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures</li>\n<li>3 years experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs<br></li>\n<li>Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Database Administrator, Associate Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA), SQL Server 2016, or SQL Database Administration Certification</li>\n<li>DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Where is the client site that I would be working for? </span>You will be working in Fairfax County, Virginia. <span>Address disclosed after your clearance is verified.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Inflow is an EEO/Affirmative action employer and is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
