Manages projects/programs of varying complexity and size. Participates on teams through some or all phases of projects including Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Monitoring and Control, Project Closure. Ensures that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the project/program goals and objectives as defined by the statement of work. Facilitates the efforts of team members to achieve their project and/or task goals and initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience leading large IT projects (50 - 100 FTEs). IT Procurement experience - Required.</li>\n <li>10+ years of project management experience - Required.</li>\n <li>The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting large IT programs within at least one of the following sectors: USCIS, TSA, USCG, Secret Service and the Department of Justice.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assigns resources to programs, establishes program objectives, and monitors progress.</li>\n <li>Develops program plans, and facilitates resolution of all issues to reach program goals.</li>\n <li>Manages program budget to reach revenue, cost, and profit targets.</li>\n <li>Manages and communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance.</li>\n <li>Participates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.</li>\n <li>Prioritizes, tracks and manages a portfolio of projects ensuring deadlines are met.</li>\n <li>Monitors progress and adjusts schedules and resources to meet key goals.</li>\n <li>Identifies and minimizes risks and issues; escalates and mitigates as needed.</li>\n <li>Facilitates and guides meetings and program planning to ensure appropriate scope and resource allocation.</li>\n <li>May provide planning, design and implementation support to assigned area.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for ensuring successful integration of all project/program segments and services.</li>\n <li>May serve as primary liaison with project/program sponsors, customers and other stakeholders.</li>\n <li>This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and responsibilities. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
