If you&rsquo;re ready to be part of something exciting &mdash; we want to hear from you!</p><p><strong><u>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a genuine smile to make a great first impression.</li><li>Provide consistent, above-and-beyond customer service throughout the shopping experience.</li><li>Know where all merchandise is located to direct customers efficiently.</li><li>Stay familiar with the store&#39;s products to answer basic customer questions.</li><li>Understand each team member&rsquo;s area of expertise to better assist customers.</li><li>Be ready to assist on the sales floor or in other departments based on business needs.</li><li>Stay updated on current advertised items and store specials.</li><li>Perform all register functions accurately, including sales, returns, exchanges, layaways, special orders, transfers, and credit card transactions.</li><li>Process all forms of payment in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Open and close the cash register independently, with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Keep the Front Desk/Cash Wrap area organized, clean, and fully stocked.</li><li>Answer phone calls courteously and enthusiastically; direct calls appropriately.</li><li>Provide clear and concise directions to customers calling about the store location.</li><li>Alert management to any suspicious behavior or situations.</li><li>Maintain accurate cash control and assist in minimizing inventory shrinkage.</li></ul><p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Preferred: Passion for the outdoors and active lifestyle.</li><li>Preferred: Previous cashier or retail experience.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to create positive interactions.</li><li>Strong basic math skills and the ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Note</strong></p><p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) in this position.
