This role is ideal for someone who brings operational credibility, understands the realities of running control centers, and can guide clients toward stronger, safer, and more effective operational performance.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span></p>\n<p>As a Grid Operations Industry Expert, you’ll work closely with utility leaders and operations teams to assess current practices, identify gaps, and guide clients toward improved operational workflows, decision-making, and workforce performance. You’ll leverage your system operations expertise to advise on future-state processes, operational standards, readiness strategies, and organizational best practices. While you may support the development or validation of training materials, this role is primarily consultative, focusing on client-facing problem-solving and operational improvement. This is an opportunity to influence how utilities operate, prepare their teams, and adapt to the evolving demands of the modern grid.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Advise Utility Leaders</span><br>Provide expert guidance on operational challenges, workforce capabilities, and opportunities to improve reliability and system performance.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Evaluate Current-State Operations</span><br>Analyze processes, roles, and decision-making frameworks to identify strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shape Future-State Solutions</span><br>Define and refine business processes, operational standards, and readiness strategies aligned with industry best practices and emerging grid needs.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Support Training &amp; Readiness</span><br>Review training content, validate simulations, and ensure materials accurately reflect real-world operational practices.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaborate Across Teams</span><br>Partner with internal project teams and client SMEs to ensure operational insights inform project plans, assessments, and deliverables.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Build Long-Term Client Relationships</span><br>Act as a trusted partner, helping utilities enhance their operations through practical, experience-backed recommendations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in electric distribution, transmission, or utility control center operations</li>\n<li>Ability to assess operational performance and provide practical, strategic recommendations</li>\n<li>Knowledge of utility operational roles, workflows, and decision-making processes</li>\n<li>Familiarity with SCADA/OMS/ADMS platforms (ABB, OSI, GE, Schneider Electric)</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills</li>\n<li>Business and operational acumen to connect recommendations with organizational goals</li>\n<li>Experience supporting training, modeling, or simulation development is a plus (but not required as a primary focus)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Mosaic, we are invested in our people and are proud to offer a competitive total compensation package. Compensation decisions are made based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, consulting experience, education and training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed reflects a good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. A reasonable national base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - 190,000.00 USD annually, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program of up to 10% of annual compensation, subject to individual and organizational performance.
