As a people driven technology company, with a mission to make sure every worker returns home safely, we drive innovation, practice resiliency, demonstrate leadership, go the extra mile for our customers, and empower our people to be their best.\n\nThe Quality Technician I plays an important role to conduct failure analysis, execute test cases, and report on issues when investigating the products that Blackline Safety produces.\n\n Key Responsibilities \n\n Develop test cases and test plan to ensure full coverage of requirements\n Analyze test data to identify underlying failure modes\n Provide analysis of failure modes to Operations, Engineering and Quality\n Meet quality goals and benchmarks as set by Management\n Technical support and troubleshooting\n Failure analysis of product returned by customers\n Laboratory testing of samples – electronics, mechanical, gas testing\n Test SW applications, HW and software in devices\n Contribute to and author test summaries\n Present and report findings to cross functional teams\n Recommend actions or solutions to improve products\n Project work for continuous improvement\n Process requests/tickets through JIRA\n\n About You   \n\n Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role\n Diploma or degree in electronics, instrumentation, or computer technology from a recognized institution\n Ability to test SW applications, HW, and the software in devices\n Strength in a technical capacity and able to understand and retain technical issues\n Demonstrated verbal and written business communication skills that are clear, concise, courteous, and professional\n Computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products\n Organized, detail oriented and can prioritize tasks\n Team player who offers solutions and ideas to continually improve the business\n Proactive in your approach to customer issues\n Outgoing, courteous, ambitious, and presentable with a professional demeanor\n\n Total Rewards  \n\nAt Blackline Safety, we offer more than just a job—we offer a career with purpose.
