Riverside Overview Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a Technical Project Manager to advise, assist and support the United States Space Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. This individual will support process development and documentation in the development and deployment of National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) space and counter-space models and data management supporting policy makers, the operations community, and the acquisitions community. Responsibilities Provide project management and integration support to align mission priorities, technical activities, and enabling functions critical to the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) and related enterprise-level functions. Support and execute stakeholder engagement, mission planning, task management, schedule integration, documentation control, information management, and workflow execution across areas such as requirements development, test and evaluation planning, funding and contracting execution and policy and governance development in areas such as threat modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A), data and infrastructure planning, and future capability evaluation and integration planning. Apply structured project management practices, enterprise integration methods, acquisition lifecycle awareness, and practical process improvement skills to ensure activities remain visible, aligned, traceable, and executable in support of mission objectives. Provide advice, assistance, and support to the NSIC on the development and integration of digital engineering and modeling, simulation, and analysis processes to support organizational activities Assess current processes, data, and supporting capabilities to identify new, integrated capabilities for the digitization of the NSIC mission Advise on the potential benefits and uses of advanced tools and bring awareness to related efforts across USSF functions while fostering collaboration and streamlining integration of NSIC developed data and models Work closely with NSIC leadership, project officers, technical teams, and mission stakeholders to track actions, manage integrated schedules, coordinate decision packages, maintain shared knowledge repositories, and advance program priorities. In collaboration with a team, develop and coordinate processes, governance and training documentation in line with Department of War, Intelligence Community and industry standards. Develop collaborative relationships with NSIC internal and external stakeholders As part of a team, maintain flexibility to perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in technical project execution and management Knowledge of methods, techniques, and processes supporting the digitization, integration, and optimization of processes, system components, infrastructure requirements, user experience design features, and test and evaluation methods. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities Experience composing documentation, reports, and briefings for program baselines, decision makers, and status for senior leaders Ability to manage time independently without direct supervision Desired 2+ years of Department of War MS&A experience Experience and knowledge of the DoW’s planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) cycle with specific experience drafting budget request and justification proposals Knowledge of complex information technology analysis concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities to evaluate the feasibility of proposed new systems, applications, and tools and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure and digital environments. Knowledge of data science principles, techniques, and tools, including data-driven algorithms, statistical methods, data analytics, data modeling and simulation, data visualization, IT systems, and emerging technologies (artificial intelligence and machine learning). Experience with one or more of the following: Simulation environments: AFSIM, NGTS, ITASE, JSE, or relevant tools Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) modeling and tools Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling and tools C++, Java, MATLAB, SIMULINK, SysML or similar programming language Global Comp 100,000 - 130,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
