If you want to be part of building something, BCA is a place where that&rsquo;s actually true</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong> The Architectural Designer III works to support the project team under the guidance of a Project Architect, by developing the contract documents, including the virtual building information model (BIM), complete with all supporting information and content.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>REPORTS TO:&nbsp;</strong>Project Architect or Project Manager</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 48.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for technical design aspects for small to mid-size projects to include investigation, evaluation, &amp; recommendation of design solutions to best meet the client&rsquo;s needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with architectural design of projects.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommends design solutions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates with other disciplines on the design process.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides technical guidance to less experienced staff.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Produce architectural drawings and virtual building models in compliance with office standards for graphics, model structure, and data management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepares visualizations of the project.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with project review and documentation for code compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and complete constructible details for the project.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with editing of project specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with cost estimating for all architectural aspects of the project.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with High Performance Design (LEED, CHPS, etc.) when part of project objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist during Construction Administration phase with tasks such as submittal review, RFI research and response, and review of pay applications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for review of the Architectural Designer I&rsquo;s drafts prior to submission to the Project Architect/Manager.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;<strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 48.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in architecture.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of experience as a non-licensed Architectural Designer.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;<strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 48.5px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in BIM software, Revit preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in architectural visualization software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in architectural specification software, SpecLink preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in project information management software, NewForma preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of modern building construction methods and materials and of the preparation of specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to present to others in small and large group formats.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent project management skills, with ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities effectively, while delivering quality work on time.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a priority on cost effectiveness and client satisfaction.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.</em></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p>\n",
