This pivotal role will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our company's extensive fleet throughout North America (US and Canada), ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of materials to various locations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n<strong>Fleet Systems & SAP Management</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee SAP system usage, including user setup, access control, and training to ensure consistent utilization across branches</li>\n <li>Enhance reporting capabilities through SAP cost reporting to improve financial visibility and cost control</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Asset Management & Compliance</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain accurate and compliant asset records, including fleet inventory tracking and reporting</li>\n <li>Manage asset identification processes, including ordering and distribution of decals</li>\n <li>Coordinate asset transfers and communicate with impacted departments</li>\n <li>Partner with CAPEX teams to support asset lifecycle management</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Procurement & Vendor Coordination</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with external vendors to manage equipment orders, deliveries, and status updates</li>\n <li>Work with corporate teams to create and process purchase orders and support procurement activities</li>\n <li>Assist branches in sourcing cost-effective parts and services</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Financial Oversight & Cost Control</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Review and approve repair estimates and expenses within established financial thresholds</li>\n <li>Identify and support warranty recovery opportunities</li>\n <li>Improve cost visibility through tracking, reporting, and analysis of fleet-related expenses</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Fleet Operations & Support</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet-related inquiries and ensure timely resolution</li>\n <li>Partner with field leadership to support fleet projects, repairs, and equipment availability</li>\n <li>Support branch participation in national maintenance and tire programs</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Safety teams to maintain accurate fleet and vehicle data</li>\n <li>Support fuel card administration (e.g., Comdata) and ensure proper setup and management</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Technology, Analytics & Performance Monitoring</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize fleet management systems to monitor performance and support decision-making</li>\n <li>Improve asset utilization reporting to identify underutilized equipment</li>\n <li>Leverage analytics platforms to track vehicle performance, fleet efficiency, and maintenance trends</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Proactive Maintenance & Telematics</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Leverage telematics and diagnostic platforms to proactively address maintenance and safety concerns</li>\n <li>Monitor fault codes, real-time alerts, and equipment performance to improve uptime and reduce risk</li>\n <li>Support operator training and optimization through performance data</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Resolve fleet-related issues and inquiries from branches in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance fleet performance</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned to support Fleet and corporate objectives</li>\n</ul>  \n<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of experience in fleet management, asset management, or operations</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and fleet management platforms</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Required Skills</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills, including negotiation abilities</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and apply advanced problem-solving techniques</li>\n <li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide others</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately, with a solid understanding of business principles</li>\n <li>Experience in project management and familiarity with construction or building materials</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and related software</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Power BI, Dynamics 365, SpecWorks, or similar tools is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<strong><u>Reports To</u></strong>Director of Fleet \n<strong><u>Compensation</u></strong>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Base:</strong> $85,000 - $105,000 per year</li>\n <li><strong>Bonus:</strong> 20% Target Bonus</li>\n <li><strong>Total Compensation (Base + Bonus):</strong> The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $97,750 - $120,750</li>\n <li><strong>Equity:</strong> This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants</li>\n</ul>  \n<strong><u>Benefits</u></strong>At FBM, we’re committed to supporting our employees both personally and professionally.
