    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Maintenance Technician @ The Cardinal at North Hills </strong>is responsible for the upkeep of the community through the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and support equipment. This associate ensures the safety and health standards for the property are being met, resulting in a safe and secure environment for residents, family members, guests and associates.    </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: FT Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (On Call Rotation)</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate $18.50/hr - $20.50/hr</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Paid Vacation / Sick Time /  7 Paid Holidays</strong><strong>Excellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Free Meal each shift</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I do every day?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain the physical condition of the interior and exterior systems and machinery of the community campus as directed by the supervisor </li>\n <li>Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.) and waste management systems</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete assigned service requests Perform turn-key work as required to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What will I need to be successful in this role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate preferred </li>\n <li>One to three years’ experience in maintenance service work orders and property maintenance </li>\n <li>Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications (not all JDs) </li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical training or HVAC certification is desirable </li>\n <li>Skill in patch, texture and painting is desirable </li>\n <li>Should have high degree of mechanical skill  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for me?
