Click Here to See All Ryder Careers: https://jobs.ryder.com/jobs/</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We want YOU to join our family made up of Proud Women and Men in Supply Chain who work alongside the many Military Reserve and Veterans we hire everyday</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment performing duties such as transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordinating with various carriers, vendor and customers strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder</li>\n <li>Has strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of WMS systems preferred</li>\n <li>Experience operating forklift equipment preferred</li>\n <li>Equipment certification may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs adminstrative tasks for area or shift</li>\n <li>Maintains filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) </li>\n <li>Interacts with customers and contractors, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims</li>\n <li>Coordinates processing of export orders, filling out export paperwork, generates export labels, maintaining export paperwork</li>\n <li>Processes returns in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintains paperwork</li>\n <li>Pallet management: orders CHEP and white wood pallets for the site, conducts reconciliation of pallet count, researches large pallet system variances</li>\n <li>Using the location's WMS system, updates area or shift metrics as needed</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
