The Team Leader ensures a smooth and consistent operation so all distribution process function properly.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong> <em>(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs</li>\n <li>Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized, and returned to proper location</li>\n <li>Monitor product inventory and communicate with Material Handling</li>\n <li>Assist all Team Members to ensure the production continues to move</li>\n <li>Create and maintain a positive working environment that enhances team spirit</li>\n <li>Meet daily production goals through continuous improvement and teamwork</li>\n <li>Coach, counsel, and provide guidance and on-the-job-training to Team Members</li>\n <li>Communicate with Team Members concerning expectations, performance, and any changes</li>\n <li>Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization</li>\n <li>Ensure that all work is performed within specification</li>\n <li>Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards</li>\n <li>Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings, and promote safety within the workplace</li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance</li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours</li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required</li>\n <li>All other job duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities: </strong> Yes </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications </u></strong><em>(The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills</li>\n <li>Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>PIV Experience (Forklift, High Reach)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in distribution</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>90% of time spent on the warehouse floor, traversing around the warehouse floor, communicating with multiple levels of team members</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting up to 55 Pounds repeatedly</li>\n</ul>",
