The ideal candidate is motivated, experienced, and carries out work safely.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>100% Company-paid Health Benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) Savings and Investment Plan</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs</li>\n <li>Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies</li>\n <li>Know and follow company start and stop procedures</li>\n <li>Performs daily greasing and oil checks on crushers and screens</li>\n <li>Keeps walkways clear of any debris and reports spillage issues to superintendent</li>\n <li>Performs daily guarding inspections and plant checks and reports any maintenance issues to superintendent</li>\n <li>Inspects screen media to ensure proper condition for maximum production</li>\n <li>Keeps operating booth clean and free from any inappropriate materials</li>\n <li>Carries out duties and work procedures to meet production schedules</li>\n <li>Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of quarry operations and work crew</li>\n <li>When needed/required assists workers in solving production problems</li>\n <li>Fills out necessary paperwork daily</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training\n  <ul>\n   <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Problem solving</li>\n <li>Able and willing to work a night shift schedule</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 months+ related experience</li>\n <li>Experience operating heavy equipment\n  <ul>\n   <li>Strong preference for Loader operation experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience working in a quarry, heavy civil construction, or other outdoor industrial setting</li>\n <li>MSHA or other relevant safety certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly required to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Sit</li>\n   <li>Use hands to finger, handle, or feel</li>\n   <li>Reach with hands and arms</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Frequently required to talk or hear</li>\n <li>Occasionally required to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li>\n   <li>Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities include distance, peripheral, and depth perception</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly exposed to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Outside weather conditions</li>\n   <li>Vibration</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Frequently exposed to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Fumes and airborne particles</li>\n   <li>Moving parts</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Noise level is usually loud</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Strategically located in central Bucks County, PA just north of Doylestown, <strong>Plumstead Quarry</strong> (formerly Plumstead Materials) has been producing high quality construction aggregate products since this greenfield quarry facility opened its doors on Point Pleasant Pike in Plumstead Township in 1996.
