Working alongside the production team, and fellow inspectors, you will be responsible for ensuring product being produced meets all our customer needs and specifications.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location:</strong> Eastford, CT</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>This is a full-time role 3:30 PM to Midnight Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Verifies dimensional and visual conformance to customer requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts and scrap</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Variable data collection and completion of inspection records using basic inspection tools and methods</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and confer with quality, engineering, or leadership staff to determine conformance of product</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage production inspection needs, along with finished product</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other related duties as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Will need to be engaged with Flow Line to help keep product moving</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Will be required to do first pieces throughout the day</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of basic inspection tools (i.e. dial calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3 months experience understanding and reading basic blueprint requirements (i.e. notes, dimensional lines, section views, symbols, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Multi-tasking abilities, adept to managing frequent shifts in priorities</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be organized, follow direction, along with company quality standards put in place</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">6 months experience using inspection methods (height gage, optical comparator, pi tapes, etc.) is a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attention to detail</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. </li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Acknowledgements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
