The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for various industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of control theory, process instrumentation, and system integration.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work on a team of experienced EnergyX engineers on projects focused on disruptive materials and engineering systems to fundamentally transform scientific aspects of the energy industry including:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Design and Development:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Design and build E&amp;I and control systems, including panel wiring, PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA development and integration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop instrumentation specifications and selection criteria for various projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create and review P&amp;IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and control schematics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop data visualization from MySQL databases in platforms such as Ignition, Grafana, or similar. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Testing and Commissioning:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for control systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Integrate control systems with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless operation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform commissioning electrical work including sensor addition, sensor validation, and motor wiring.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform general system commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Project Management:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Prepare project documentation, including control narratives, functional specifications, and user manuals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Compliance and Standards:</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure all instrumentation and control designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Stay updated with the latest advancements in control technology and best practices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, in an industrial setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, OPTO22, Schneider, or Mitsubishi) PLC/HMI systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong understanding of process instrumentation, control theory, and automation systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Ignition software including server commissioning, PLC communication, tag historian, and HMI design.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with OPC UA and/or Modbus communication protocols</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
