    "description": "<p><span>Established in 2013, Sapphire Utility Solutions has quickly become the partner of choice for many clients across the UK in our chosen markets.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>About the Role:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a Waste Water Operative to join our team working on our United Utilities contract based out of Bamber Bridge, Preston, covering their North West network</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston.</li>\n<li>Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm with a paid lunch). Overtime also available at time and a half.</li>\n<li>Salary: £33,800 per annum </li>\n<li>Weekly pay</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Due to work needs you may be required to assist on other contracts within Sapphire Utility Solutions</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities - but not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be working closely with a Waste Water Operative to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities</li>\n<li>Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales</li>\n<li>Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow</li>\n<li>Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting</li>\n<li>Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.</li>\n<li>Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.</li>\n<li>Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes</li>\n<li>Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Requirements for the role:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desirable:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience is desirable however if you're looking to start your career within utilities full training will be offered.</li>\n<li>Excellent listening and communication skills</li>\n<li>Competent in IT, accurate data entry</li>\n<li>Team player</li>\n<li>Positive, can-do attitude<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What you will get in return:</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions as part of the Lanes Group - the UK’s largest independent provider, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
