It is an MSA and locally accredited, fully independent, co-educational Pre-K - 9 international school offering an American program in an International setting.</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">JAIS</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">JAIS is situated in a residential area of Jerusalem in the Goldstein youth village. Classroom practices emphasize active, collaborative learning; team-building activities; the application of technology to authentic learning experiences; differentiated instruction and student achievement.</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">General Expectations</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Guide practice according to the JAIS Mission, Vision &amp; Profile of a Learner.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience and success teaching Homeroom  with all the necessary communications with students, parents and coworkers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent practice in differentiation and inclusion within the mainstream classroom for students with individual needs </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High technological comfort and competence in teaching in times of virtual school and open to using online platforms to help with regular class differentiation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Innovative and engaging educator - who can create excitement and interest for students as a communication tool.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to teach small groups of students with different abilities , ages and interest levels.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To excel in this position, an individual must successfully perform each essential responsibility, in addition to the following:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fluency in English.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Licensed teacher with a degree in a relevant area.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Elementary Homeroom Teacher in a school setting, preference to candidates who have taught in International schools;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Preference to candidates with a deep knowledge of the American-based standards and/ or AERO for American International school curriculum.</span></li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Child Protection</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">JAIS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
