    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position. </span></p><p></p><p>This role is highly analytical and requires an individual who can deliver insightful financial analysis and decision support to our business partners, while mentoring a team in a fast-paced, complex portfolio environment.</p><p><br /><b>The Role</b></p><p>The Director, Finance is a senior leader within the AM Line Finance organization, responsible for shaping and advancing how we measure, evaluate, and optimize technology investment performance across the AM Technology Portfolio.<br /><br /><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Deliver accurate, high-quality financial analysis and portfolio insights; serve as a trusted advisor on finance-related matters and influence portfolio and demand management decisions.</p></li><li><p>Strengthen analytical rigor by establishing portfolio performance frameworks, developing investment theses, and leading end-to-end business case development.</p></li><li><p>Drive clear attribution of value across technology initiatives through consistent measurement of outcomes, ROI, and resource effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>Lead strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and full lifecycle business case management, including governance and controls.</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with Finance VPs, Product, Platform, Engineering, and Data leaders, as well as Centers of Excellence (Tech Finance, Portfolio Costing), to support investment planning, forecasting, and value realization.</p></li><li><p>Enable outcome-oriented decision-making by translating complex financial and portfolio data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain robust portfolio measurement frameworks to evaluate investment performance, delivery timing, and value realization.</p></li><li><p>Design scalable, repeatable reporting structures that provide transparency from initiative-level execution through enterprise-wide views.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate active and completed initiatives to identify value drivers and optimization opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Mentor and develop a team of analysts, strengthening team capabilities, prioritization, and overall performance.</p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Expertise and Skills You Bring</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.</p></li><li><p>10 plus years of progressive finance experience with strong exposure to technology, product, or portfolio finance.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, ROI analysis, business case development, and portfolio analytics.</p></li><li><p>Strategic mindset with the ability to connect financial insights to business outcomes and technology strategy.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis for senior leadership.</p></li><li><p>Strong critical‑thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting technology, data, or digital organizations strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with tools such as CostIT, TrackIT, NGAV, Power BI, Anaplan</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in financial tools (Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell) and comfort with data visualization and analytics.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates curiosity and a strong willingness to learn new tools, methods and skills to improve outcomes</p></li><li><p>Exhibit initiative and teamwork including being energetic, proactive, and collaborative; contributes as an active team player and leader. </p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.  <p style=\"text-align:left\">Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
