Armed with a wealth of project experience and an in-depth grasp of municipal requirements, the Egis team has expertise in the municipal approvals process.</p><p>Tailoring our approach to the specific nature of the development, we meticulously prepare engineering documents necessary for submission. These documents serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to adhere to municipal design standards and criteria, assuring the municipality that the proposed development won't adversely affect adjacent properties or downstream infrastructure.</p><p>Embedded within Egis’s land development process is a thorough assessment of natural features on each site. Our meticulous plans are designed to minimize environmental impacts while ensuring the sustainable development of your project.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and drafting of engineering/construction drawings for various land development, municipal engineering and/or major interdisciplinary projects.</li><li>Developing drawings, plans, profiles, and models in a 3D format. Experience with Civil3D surfaces, pipe networks and pressure pipe networks is considered a strong asset.</li><li>Producing design spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Producing written reports for development projects.</li><li>Enhancing data charts and tables for presentation.</li><li>Interpreting and implementing standards from regulatory bodies, approving agencies and project stakeholders.</li><li>Maintaining positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Leading and providing mentorship to other designers.</li><li>Keeping up to date on the latest design tools and aids in CAD/civil 3D in consultation with our team of&#xa0;designers.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>&#xa0;</p><p>The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:</p><ul><li>Completion of a college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology, or similar.</li><li>Experience in consulting engineering in Alberta and/or land development or municipal engineering design and construction would be an asset.</li><li>Proficiency working with design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.</li><li>Experience working with&#xa0;Projectwise,&#xa0;BIM360, Procore, Sharepoint or other cloud-based platforms is considered an asset.&#xa0;</li><li>Well-developed computer and analytical skills.</li><li>Knowledge of or experience in the field on construction projects would be an asset.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.</li><li>Ability to work with engineers on multidisciplinary development projects.</li><li>Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
