To meet our current corporate needs, we are looking to bring to our team an Application Support Engineer
In this role, you will:
Monitoring and resolving open production issues at the 2nd level within designated timeframes.
Promptly initiating a "Problem" report when the root cause of an incident remains unidentified.
Conducting advanced troubleshooting for production incidents and problems.
Taking ownership of problem monitoring and tracking, with a focus on process improvement for recurring issues.
Reproducing incidents and validating fixes through regression testing.
Contributing to root cause analysis efforts to prevent future outages or quality issues.
Flexibility is key as this position requires shift work and occasional international travel due to our global clientele.
requirements
Your profile should include:
Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Possess 1-2 years of experience in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA, or DEVOPS.
Have solid system administration skills in Linux and Windows environments. Experience with cluster management is considered a plus.
Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, New Relic, or log analysis platforms like Kibana.
Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or Mongo DB.
Bonus points for experience in automation testing and scripting languages.
Communicate effectively in both written and spoken Greek and English.
Prioritize teamwork and value collective success over individual achievements.
