Description
Mercedes-Benz Vans is a successful manufacturer of premium light commercial vehicles (LCV) for customers and markets worldwide. Our purpose is “to move transportation to the next level” and to define the LCV business of the future: focused on sustainability, connectivity and digital solutions. We have decided to expand our battery-electric LCV production capacity and implement an entirely new plant next to our existing Mercedes-Benz production facility in Jawor. We are now looking for highly-motivated employees, who would like to shape the future of mobility together with us!
Failure Analysis Process Engineer
Join our newly established Prevention, Failure Analysis & QM-System Team in the Quality Department.
Our team is responsible for analyzing and correcting failures in series production, quality approvals, and all topics related to the Quality System. We support these topics from analysis and development of corrective actions to effectiveness monitoring and lessons learned.
In addition, we lead and manage the plant quality review committees, and synchronize these topics across departments and other plants worldwide.
Task:
Independently conduct complex analyses on product and process issues, initiate corrective actions and manage them through to implementation, effectiveness monitoring, and documenting lessons learned
Coordinate error handling and ensure the flow of information with other departments, from production and engineering to development, as well as across plants (worldwide). Document these topics in the system
Independent planning, management, and control of projects within your own area of responsibility
Participate in the planning and execution of quality approvals
