          "text": "<p><strong><u>ABOUT THE ROLE</u></strong></p><p>The Production Associate 1 employee at Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is responsible for various windows &amp; doors assembly operations while ensuring we Safely make a Quality product and minimize waste/ cost, so it can be delivered on time to customers. Also, responsible for working with a sense of urgency while maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:</p><p><strong><u>WHAT YOU’LL DO</u></strong></p><ul><li>Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products</li><li>Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.</li><li>Follow defined clean-up times.</li><li>Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized operations</li><li>Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for Customers</li><li>Identify problems; communicate issues.</li><li>Assist with training co-workers.</li><li>Support a respectful workplace.</li><li>Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management</li></ul><p><strong>Pay rate $16/hr</strong></p>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>WHAT YOU’LL NEED</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read tape measures as well as read and interpret fractions and decimals</li><li>Ability to read at least minimum word and number recognition/Visual Cues</li><li>Operate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and knowing when to change PPE</li><li>Identify hazards while understanding station knowledge of safety hazards/protocols/PPE</li><li>Variations – having knowledge of measurement standards and tolerances</li><li>Follow instruction and Standard Work while frequently referring Standard work instructions</li><li>Knowledge of product defects specifically to their workstation</li><li>Quality Recognition In station quality requirements/CTQ</li><li>Communicate Effectively by actively Listening, Explain Clearly &amp; Accurately, Ask Questions, Share Important Info.</li><li>Time Management and awareness of Cycle Times</li><li>Ability to wear required PPE – metatarsal shoes, arm guards, ear protection, and safety glasses</li><li>Dependability/punctuality &amp; Detail Oriented.</li><li>High school diploma is preferred.</li><li>Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand is required</li><li>Ability to consistently lift at least 50 pounds, 8 to 12 hours a day is required</li><li>Ability to work in a hot &amp; cold environment is required</li><li>Being able to work extended hours and weekends based on business needs is required</li><li>Willing &amp; able to work various positions in various departments (cross-trained) is required</li><li>Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods is required</li><li>Able to comply with all company policies and procedures, including all safety regulations are required</li><li>Ability to follow Supervisors’ instructions/directions as given is required</li><li>Possess the following skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication and initiative.</li><li>Preferred knowledge of WTS Paradigm and various ERP functionality</li></ul><p><strong><u>COMPETENCIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Cornerstone Building Brands (CBB) Values and Behaviors &amp; Mindsets – Act consistently with CBB’s Values (Safety, Integrity, &amp; Inclusion) and Behaviors &amp; Mindsets (Customer-Centricity, Interconnectedness, Continuous Improvement).</li><li>Anticipation – Proactively identify and solve issues before they become problems.</li><li>Problem Solving – ability to determine the cause of the problem; identifying, prioritizing, and selecting alternatives for a solution; and implementing a solution.
