    "description_html": "<p><u><strong>Job Summary:</strong></u> Coordinates and performs diagnostic radiography procedures to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.</p><p><u><strong>Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Assesses patient condition as to the procedure to be done.</li><li>Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and strives to ensure high Image quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Identifies anatomical orientation on all required images, and ensures proper film identification.&nbsp;</li><li>Records pertinent data on Radiologic requisitions at all time (Pt. Number; symptoms; diagnosis).</li><li>Shows strong patient care skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Prompt and courteous.</li><li>Ability to coordinate workload with minimal supervision.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of film quality and ability to repeat film as needed.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of all hospital-related information.</li><li>Establishes and maintains a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with department staff, physicians, hospital staff, patients and visitors.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned, transporter, darkroom tech, secretary, etc.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure exam documentation and charges.</li><li>Demonstrates proper response and reliability for “On Call” coverage.</li><li>Identifies each patient and reviews each patients requisition for exam consistency and clinical diagnosis.</li><li>Coordinates radiographic examination to ensure quality and continuity of patient care and assists with the management of the workflow in absence of supervisor.</li><li>Participates in the orientation and training of new employees, healthcare professionals and students.</li><li>Ensures proper patient safety, comfort and care through use of support devices.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to organize patient care and set priorities by providing critical care first through implementation of physician’s orders.</li><li>Ability to work under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.</li></ul>",
