    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an Operator to join us at our site in Dunn, NC. You will set up and operate semi-automatic and manual machines, including machine shop and special purpose. Previous direct experience isn't required, training will be provided. Previous experience working in manufacturing environment will be a plus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for someone to work 2nd shift. Starting hourly rate is $18.45/hr + shift differential.  Great benefits with stability and growth potential. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Monday-Thursday - 2.30pm - 12.00am</p>\n<p>Friday - 2.30pm - 6.30pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>There is a shift differential of 10%</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You can find more information about the job and our company below. Apply now to join our team! </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate a variety of machining operations on standard and specialized machine shop equipment such as lightband lapping, polishing, tool grinding, etc..</li>\n <li>Use a variety of cutting tools including diamond grinding wheels.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of simple algebra and plane geometry.</li>\n <li>Read and understand instructional materials and/or process plans.</li>\n <li>Insure that route sheets, drawings and other specifications are met on the products produced by performing a first piece inspection.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical devices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Additional Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to read and understand somewhat complicated blueprints and the accumulative effect of tolerances.</li>\n <li>Must be able to set up and operate machinery in the department.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be capable of standing for the majority of an 8-hour workday</li>\n <li>Must be able to continuously lift up to 35 pounds, 50 lbs infrequently</li>\n <li>Safety glasses and safety shoes required to be worn</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates must be a US Person, defined as an individual that is a:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Citizen of the United States, or</li>\n <li>Permanent resident alien of the United States, or</li>\n <li>Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job description does not state or imply that all duties to be performed are specifically identified above.
