We value curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace change as part of how we work.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Position Overview:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">The <strong>Senior Quality Assurance Analyst</strong> will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Specialty insurance products through a combination of manual testing and the development and execution of automated test scripts. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you’re passionate about being part of Insurance Products Testing, testing rate and form rules, advancing test automation and championing quality, this could be your dream job.&nbsp;<span> </span>This role will report to the AVP, Quality Assurance and the role will work out an office on a hybrid basis.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Responsible for the planning and execution of project / release testing activities</span></li><li><span>Prioritization of tasks according to business needs</span></li><li><span>Capacity planning, allocation of tasks and activities, tracking and reporting</span></li><li><span>Manage clients, partners and other project stakeholders and handle risks and issues and take appropriate project related decisions</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with team located across shores in successfully delivering the project</span></li><li><span>Ensure escalation processes are followed to swiftly alert all the project stakeholders to risks or issues in the project and ensure appropriate actions are taken</span></li><li><span>Build close relationships with all levels of the organization to allow open flow of communication&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Act as an escalation for concerns&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Drafting Test Strategy, Test Plan</span></li><li><span>Test effort estimation</span></li><li><span>Managing test schedules</span></li><li><span>Status and Metrics report to stakeholders, design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Maintain and update the test Automation framework as needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Execute automated test suites to identify defects to improve software quality.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Stay up to date on the latest advancements in test automation tools and best practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Assist with ad hoc projects as needed and contribute to a collaborative, high</span><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Cambria Math&quot;, serif;\">‑</span><span>performing culture aligned with The Ascot Way</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent years of experience/degrees&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Minimum of 5 years’ experience as in a testing/QA role in the financial services industry</span></li><li><span>Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Commercial and/or Specialty insurance industry required</span></li><li style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span>Exposure to different SDLCs, Agile experience is a must</span></li><li style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span>Functional Testing experience</span></li><li style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"><span>Strong MS Office skills</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication including verbal, written and presentation skills</span></li><li><span>Analytical, rigorous, with attention to detail&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they develop</span><span style=\"background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Playwrite, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress) is preferred</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and programing languages (e.g. Java, C#)&nbsp;&nbsp;is preferred</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span>&nbsp;</span></span><span>Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and SoapUI is a plus.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">***This position may be filled at a different level, depending on experience***</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 4.5pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-left: 4.5pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees.
