    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Certified Designer will be responsible for designing multiple projects, directing and/or leading other design professionals within their discipline, and working with other design disciplines internal and external to PEC to develop engineering solutions for PEC&rsquo;s Clients. This position will be responsible for providing design deliverables for a variety of projects, while maintaining PEC&rsquo;s standard of excellence. This position utilizes BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based calculations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for project completion in accordance with quality assurance policies, standards and project specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and review technology plans and drawings</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and/or direct technology design, coordination with other design staff for construction documents and specification production in compliance with building codes, construction administration, and development of reports/studies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as an advisor to the Project Manager, identify and communicate any potential risk to the project in a timely fashion</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and/or direct design computations by hand and by computer software</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Use experience, education, and judgement to make informed decisions. Retain knowledge and build on previous experiences to increase capabilities in breadth and complexity</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Organize multiple projects and tasks and complete them in a timely manner, on schedule, and per PEC Standards.
