Bilingual skills preferred, but not required. This is a full-time customer service position at Roto-Rooter’s Baltimore-area call center, located in Linthicum, MD, operating on the evening shift (until 10:00 p.m.).  The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.00-$19.00, depending on experience.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Be the first point of contact with our customers.</li>\n <li>Obtain key information from the customer while expressing empathy, a sense of urgency and confidence that they called the right company and we will solve their plumbing problems.</li>\n <li>Data entry, including customer contact information and relevant details concerning their plumbing problems. </li>\n <li>Schedule a service call based on customer’s availability and convenience.</li>\n <li>Discuss additional services and products we have available that may be helpful.</li>\n <li>Be a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual skills are a plus!</li>\n <li>Strong customer service focus</li>\n <li>AS400 knowledge is preferred</li>\n <li>Prior call center experience is helpful</li>\n <li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>A Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs</li>\n <li>Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Roto-Rooter, we believe our most significant investment is in our employees.
