As the Security Manager – Facility Security Officer (FSO) at Centrus Energy, you’ll lead the charge in safeguarding classified information, controlled data, and critical company assets. Serving as the trusted authority on security compliance at headquarters, you’ll ensure programs align with national standards while partnering with leadership to maintain a secure, compliant, and mission-ready environment.</p>\n <p><br><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Maintains responsibility&nbsp;for&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;that&nbsp;provide&nbsp;for&nbsp;the execution of security plans/programs to the standards set forth by all applicable U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) rules and/or U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)&nbsp; orders, regulations,&nbsp;plans, and directives,&nbsp;including the NISPOM which establishes&nbsp;requirements for the protection of classified information to prevent unauthorized disclosure</li>\n  <li>Serves&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;Site&nbsp;Insider&nbsp;Threat&nbsp;Program&nbsp;Lead&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;site&nbsp;in&nbsp;accordance&nbsp;with&nbsp;the requirements of the NISPOM rule</li>\n  <li>Ensures site remains compliant with Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) 3, Reporting&nbsp;Requirements&nbsp;for&nbsp;Personnel&nbsp;with&nbsp;Access&nbsp;to&nbsp;Classified&nbsp;Information&nbsp;or&nbsp;Who&nbsp;Hold&nbsp;a Sensitive Position</li>\n  <li>Investigate&nbsp;security&nbsp;related&nbsp;issues&nbsp;in&nbsp;conjunction&nbsp;with&nbsp;Inquiry&nbsp;Officials,&nbsp;other&nbsp;FSOs,&nbsp;and Director of Corporate Security</li>\n  <li>Coordinates&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Outside&nbsp;Security&nbsp;Monitor&nbsp;(OSM)&nbsp;in&nbsp;support&nbsp;of&nbsp;independent&nbsp;review&nbsp;of Centrus/ ACO FOCI and security operations and posture</li>\n  <li>Provides technical and administrative guidance to all site personnel concerning Export controlled&nbsp;Information,&nbsp;Unclassified&nbsp;Control&nbsp;Nuclear&nbsp;Information,&nbsp;Classified,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Controlled Unclassified Information</li>\n  <li>Ensures&nbsp;policies,&nbsp;procedures,&nbsp;and&nbsp;practices&nbsp;are&nbsp;documented&nbsp;and&nbsp;available</li>\n  <li>Custodian&nbsp;for&nbsp;closed&nbsp;area,&nbsp;GSA&nbsp;Repositories&nbsp;and&nbsp;ComSec&nbsp;equipment</li>\n  <li>Performs&nbsp;routine&nbsp;walk-through&nbsp;inspections&nbsp;and documents&nbsp;for&nbsp;correction/resolution&nbsp;of&nbsp;all identified deficiencies during the walk-downs or self-assessment</li>\n  <li>Updates&nbsp;and&nbsp;administers&nbsp;initial&nbsp;and&nbsp;annual&nbsp;site-specific&nbsp;security&nbsp;training</li>\n  <li>Maintain the corporate FOCI filings through the eFOCI system</li>\n  <li>Coordinate Executive Protection details as necessary</li>\n  <li>Develop and provide training to site personnel<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<p><strong>We’d Love to Hear From People With:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a security-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>5+ years experience as an FSO, physical security manager, personnel security manager, or related security leadership role&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities program&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of 32 CFR 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership on security-related topics&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” security clearance<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>A Successful Candidate Brings:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Department of Energy classification requirements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience handling controlled unclassified information (CUI)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prior experience as a ComSec custodian with encryption technologies such as VipER or STE&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience administering access control programs for closed areas&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NRC requirements related to protection of classified data&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Active Q or Top Secret security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000. This position is Bonus eligible.
