We are committed to fostering a work environment focused on teamwork that celebrates diversity, promotes equity and ensures equal access to information, development and opportunity for all of our Healthcare Pros.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. </p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.</li>\n <li>Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS</li>\n <li>Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results</li>\n <li>Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on duty</li>\n <li>Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats</li>\n <li>Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations</li>\n <li>Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing</li>\n <li>Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment</li>\n <li>Perform Quality Control as established by this laboratory</li>\n <li>Perform Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis periodically as established by this facility</li>\n <li>Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two years</li>\n <li>Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position and document these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or the Laboratory Director</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Other Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform duties as ER Technician as needed</li>\n <li>Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing</li>\n <li>Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment</li>\n <li>Travel to all facility locations as required</li>\n <li>Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED, required</li>\n <li>Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required</li>\n <li>Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred</li>\n <li>Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, required</li>\n <li>Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required</li>\n <li>Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred\n  <ul>\n   <li>CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required</li>\n <li>2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred</li>\n <li>1+ years of CT experience, preferred</li>\n <li>1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred</li>\n <li>Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS</li>\n <li>Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication</li>\n <li><u>Pennsylvania Candidates</u>: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), & Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> #INDCCARE</p>",
