experienced leader to join our team as a <strong>1st&nbsp;Shift Weld Supervisor</strong> at our Tipton, KS facility.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required.&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for welding and material handling.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Interpret specifications and job orders to workers, and assign duties.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Set up and program welding equipment.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Inspect work to maintain specified standards and quality.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Set up machines or make trial welds to make test runs and experimental products.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Prepare operational schedules and welding activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Complete measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Train new employees and maintain an appropriate labor-management relationship with subordinates.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Perform activities of workers supervised.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.</span></li></ul><p Qualifications:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Minimum 2 years of experience welding in a manufacturing environment</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Ability to perform arc welding by hand</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Management or supervisory experience preferred</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Working knowledge of production processes and methods&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret documents
