truck, including tractor trailers to support all assigned work activity.  </p>\n<p>Employee must have three (3) years of field mechanic experience and possess a valid commercial driver’s license. </p>\n<p><strong>THIS JOB IS FOR THE WHOLE STATE OF FL. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>THE JOB WOULD REQUIRE REPAIRS TO MADE IN FILED CONDITIONS.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains motor vehicles and construction equipment, such as pickup trucks and heavier trucks ranging from ½ ton to 10 ton GVWR, company automobiles, cranes, power shovels, digger derricks, aerial lift equipment, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, pumps, compressors, portable generators, portable power supplies, hydraulic press heads and motors and pneumatic tools.</li>\n <li>Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects.</li>\n <li>Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.</li>\n <li>May weld or have welded broken parts and structural members.</li>\n <li>May fabricate or have fabricated, parts or devices used in the construction and/or maintenance of power and telecommunication systems.</li>\n <li>Perform general cleanup of equipment and may direct workers engaged in cleaning parts and assist with assembly and disassembly of equipment.</li>\n <li>May repair, adjust and maintain specialized machinery, such as conductor pullers, tensioners, spacer buggies, drilling and cutting equipment.</li>\n <li>Plans work procedure, using charts, technical manuals, and experience.</li>\n <li>Raises equipment using hydraulic jack or hoist, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of equipment.</li>\n <li>Remove as needed, engine, transmission, or differential, using wrenches and hoist.</li>\n <li>Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear, using test equipment, calipers, and thickness gauges.</li>\n <li>May repair replace parts or send equipment off to have parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves and bearing replaced.</li>\n <li>Overhauls or replaces carburetors, fuel injection systems, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps.</li>\n <li>May rebuild or send off to be rebuilt crankshafts and cylinder blocks, valve heads, etc.</li>\n <li>Rewires ignition system, lights, and instrument panel.</li>\n <li>Relines and adjusts brakes, clutches, align front end, repairs or replaces shock absorbers and solders leak in radiator.</li>\n <li>Mend damaged body and fenders by hammering out or filling in dents and welded broken parts.</li>\n <li>Replaces and adjusts headlights, and installs and repairs accessories, such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.</li>\n <li>Identify safety equipment on a specific piece of equipment.</li>\n <li>Read and use the operations manual of a specific piece of equipment.</li>\n <li>Identify components and controls of machine.</li>\n <li>Able to perform daily walk arounds, routine and periodic checks, inspections, and the maintenance of equipment. </li>\n <li>Learn and interpret proper hand signals.</li>\n <li>Assist with the service and maintenance schedule of the equipment.</li>\n <li>Read and use all capacity charts for the equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform the setup of the equipment, connect, and disconnect trailers.</li>\n <li>Capable of securing loads on trailers.</li>\n <li>May also perform other duties as needed.</li>\n <li>Have the ability to spot or recognize potential danger areas and take evasive actions on his/her own initiative.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>May be required to relocate as work requirements demand.</li>\n <li>Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a field service mechanic.</li>\n <li>Is required to hold a valid commercial driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Is required to maintain a current Medical Certification Card.</li>\n <li>May be required to obtain light crane certification for boom trucks etc.</li>\n <li>Trustworthy and safety minded and must be conversant with all safety procedures/requirements applicable to the equipment.</li>\n <li>May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems.</li>\n <li>May attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations and/or refresher training.</li>\n <li>All individuals in this personnel classification must meet requirements of OSHA standard 29 CFT 1910 for the specific operated equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Qualifications</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting and handling materials up to 60 pounds unassisted.</li>\n <li>Walking and working across uneven terrain.</li>\n <li>Have good manual dexterity and machine-controlling skills</li>\n <li>Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and
