This role offers a hybrid work schedule in our <strong>Tacoma, Washington</strong> office.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Support projects involving compliance with Washington (ISGP) and Oregon (1200-Z) industrial stormwater general permits, including SWPPP preparation, stormwater monitoring, BMP selection, and overall client support for permit compliance tracking</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist with the design and implementation of stormwater conveyance and treatment systems and industrial wastewater pretreatment systems, including hydraulic analysis of pumping/piping systems</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Support industrial wastewater permitting and compliance activities, including State Waste Discharge Permit and Individual NPDES permit applications and renewals</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Develop sampling and analysis plans and conduct pollutant source identification</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Collaborate with project teams, and support project managers with high quality technical deliverables&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Manage projects and provide responsive client communications</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>This position is available for the candidate who has:</strong></span></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or related field</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">5+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial stormwater and/or wastewater</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Working knowledge of industrial stormwater permitting and treatment system design</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience preparing engineering reports, calculations, and permit documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Professional Engineer (PE) license in WA or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Current, valid driver&#39;s license</span></li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative project-team environment, interchangeably supporting co-workers and engaging co-workers&rsquo; support to meet the specific needs of a wide range of projects.
