          "text": "<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>SOSi is seeking a <strong>Data Scientist</strong>&#xa0;to join our analytics team working on an innovative MLOps workload leveraging cutting-edge technologies and supporting a government customer in <strong>Huntsville, Alabama</strong>. This role will be responsible for delivering automation to key national security missions interacting with petabyte-scale data on supercomputing resources.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a background in AI/ML model development and have experience in Python programming, handling SQL databases, and working in command line interfaces. You will leverage scientific techniques to transform petabyte-scale data into insightful data products to enable dta-driven decisions. You will perform using Scrumban techniques and be embedded with end users.</p><p>The team will work with technologies including:</p><ul><li>Open source, commercial, and government software packages such as Docker, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, PostgreSQL, and other tools.</li><li>Leverage GitOps patterns and CI/CD with tools like GitLab and GitHub.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Job Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and deploy data science solutions leveraging Python or similar languages.</li><li>Utilize Linux for development of data processing and model deployment.</li><li>Collaborate with data engineers to improve data colleciton, quality, and access.</li><li>Prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt solutions to meet project requirements.</li><li>Document processes and outcomes for transparency and future reference.</li><li>Write clean, testable, maintainable code in Python and other languages.</li></ul>",
