    "description": "<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health Main Campus | Kettering | Part-Time Every Weekend Commitment | Nights</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Requirements</h2>\n<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for assisting in direct care to patients; surgical techs continually support surgeons and nurses by selecting, setting up, and passing of sterile instruments to the surgeon and assistants</li>\n <li>The Surgical Tech’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworkers</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Requirements:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Surgical experience preferred; with a minimum 5 years’ experience if not a graduate of an ST program</li>\n <li>Experience as a ST preferred</li>\n <li>If not certified ST, must obtain within a year of hire</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
