Assist walk-in patients. &nbsp;</li><li>Place reminder calls to patients for scheduled appointments. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide excellent customer service for patients, practice confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with clinic policies and HIPAA requirements. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Distribute patient surveys according to guidelines. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assist team to maintain proper clinic flow. &nbsp;</li><li>Check in patients, collect co-pays, and counsel patients on account balances. &nbsp;</li><li>Verify other primary insurance. &nbsp;</li><li>Assist/offer Voter Registration. &nbsp;</li><li>Travel to other Clinics, as needed.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma/ GED</li><li>1 year experience in third party billing, state funded programs, payer source and billing procedures.</li><li>2 years of clerical experience and / or training, preferably in a clinical environment or the equivalent combination of education and / or experience.</li><li>Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred</li></ul><p><br><strong>Perks and Benefits:</strong></p><p>At Sunrise, we pride ourselves in over 50 years of exceptional support to our community and employees.
