Overview Behind every exceptional dining experience is a spotless kitchen. We’re looking for a PM Full-Time dedicated Kitchen Steward to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of our hotel’s kitchen and food service areas. In this essential role, you’ll support the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for service. Pay Rate $20.60. And because taking care of guests starts with taking care of our team, we offer great perks like complimentary stays for you and your family, free daily lunch in our employee cafeteria, free parking, a 401(k) retirement plan, and more. Full-time team members also enjoy comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, plus employer-paid life insurance for extra peace of mind. #TownCountrySD Responsibilities Take pride in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hotel standards. Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently while using cleaning chemicals responsibly. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, counters, and storage areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Collect and dispose of kitchen waste in a hygienic manner and report any broken equipment, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to leadership. Support restaurant and banquet operations by ensuring an adequate supply of clean service ware during service. When needed, assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks to help keep the kitchen running smoothly. Qualifications Flexibility: This role requires availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The kitchen environment is fast-paced and team-driven, so adaptability is key. Experience: Previous experience in a stewarding, housekeeping, or cleaning role is preferred but not required. Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safe handling practices, sanitation standards, and proper equipment use is helpful. A strong understanding of safety procedures in a kitchen environment is essential. People Skills: The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys supporting a team. A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed are important to success in this role. Physical Demands: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions such as scrubbing and washing. The ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds is required. You will work in a high-heat, high-humidity environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment.
