Today we are one of the largest business schools in the country and off degree programmes in the fields of Accounting &amp; Finance, Business &amp; Management, Economics &amp; Development Studies and Information Technology. We also have a lot of staff events that enable us to celebrate as a team and give recognition where it's due.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Primary Responsibility      </span>    </span></p>\n<p>Overseeing the entire QA function, setting QA standards and processes, resource planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, and driving continuous improvement. Leads the Quality Assurance Department toward intended quality objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement, and monitor the university’s Quality Assurance framework, policies, and standards.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular internal audits of academic programs, administrative processes, and operational functions.</li>\n<li>Coordinate risk management processes, including the identification and mitigation of risks.</li>\n<li>Provide training, guidance, and support to departments for maintaining Quality Assurance standards.</li>\n<li>Compile and present Quality Assurance reports to the University Council and relevant committees, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with national and international standards, including DHERST requirements.</li>\n<li>Facilitate the use of data-driven decision-making to inform policy adjustments and improvements.</li>\n<li>Facilitating the Quality Certifications such as ISO 9001</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline.</li>\n<li>Professional Qualification in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Compliance, or any other relevant field, leading to membership with CPA PNG.</li>\n<li>Minimum Five Years Post Qualifying Experience in Risk Management, Auditing, Compliance, Education Administration, or any similar relevant field.</li>\n<li>Previous engagement in Quality Frameworks such as ISO will be an added benefit.</li>\n</ul>",
