Over the past 30 years Knappett Industries Ltd. has maintained a strong and accelerating growth rate, with operations currently serving Western Canada.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Cut pipes to required lengths</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Align and position pipes to prepare them for fusing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using provided material</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Lay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Mathematical ability to calculate grades slopes, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Ability to read and interpret plans and specification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">3+ years’ experience pipe laying in civil construction </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Professional demeanour when dealing with the public</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Able to do extensive physical labour</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Valid provincial driver’s license</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-weight: bold\">Assets:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">Recent working experience in similar role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">First aid training</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino\">This position is compensated at an hourly rate plus LOA for our of town employees.  Compensation will be determined by the successful applicant’s level of training and experience.
