    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NPI Project Intern (New Product Introduction)</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The NPI Project Intern will support the planning, design, and launch of new production processes and equipment within a manufacturing facility currently under development. This role will assist with facility layout, product flow, equipment placement, and documentation to ensure efficient, safe, and scalable operations. The intern will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to translate designs and concepts into practical manufacturing solutions.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This position provides hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, facility startup, and new product/process implementation.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with facility and production floor layout design using CAD software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Create and update drawings, floor plans, and equipment layouts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support product and material flow analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Help develop line layouts, workstation configurations, and process flow diagrams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in equipment installation, setup, and commissioning activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with time studies, process observations, and continuous improvement projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and project records</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and operations during project execution</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support 5S, safety, and lean manufacturing initiatives</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform other project-related tasks as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Mechanical Engineering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manufacturing Engineering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Industrial Engineering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Engineering Technology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">or related field</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience/Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong attention to detail and organization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and in a team environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to manufacturing or production environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of lean manufacturing or process improvement concepts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with facility layout or workflow analysis</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Frequent walking, standing, and observing production areas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">May require PPE in production areas (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, etc.)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Learning Opportunities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Facility startup and manufacturing design</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Production line development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Equipment installation and commissioning</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Real-world engineering project management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Cross-functional collaboration</span></li>\n</ul>",
