    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Description</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Performs continuous observation of cardiac monitors, including dysrhythmias, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Notifies appropriate licensed personnel as necessary.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>1. Identifies dysrhythmias and rhythm changes utilizing systematic EKG analysis and notifies assigned Registered Nurse of any changes or problems.&nbsp;<br/>2. Verifies all alarm parameters are set and activated at the beginning of the shift and responds to monitor alarms as needed.&nbsp;<br/>3. Assists the RN in admitting patient, including alarm settings, AICD or pacemakers.&nbsp;<br/>4. Prints monitor strips on each patient for interpretation by a Registered Nurse and files in the patient’s medical record. Replaces paper as needed.&nbsp;<br/>5. Performs stat EKG’s when required.&nbsp;<br/>6. Participates in orientation of new monitor technicians as necessary.&nbsp;<br/>7. Reports equipment safety hazards or repairs to supervision.&nbsp;<br/>8. Follows Infection Control protocols.&nbsp;<br/>9. Performs related duties, as required.</p>\n<p>Job Qualification</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>High School Diploma or equivalent, required.<br/>Successful completion of an EKG course or equivalent, required.&nbsp;<br/>Previous experience, preferred.</p>\n<p><br/><strong>*Additional Salary Detail</strong>&nbsp;<br/>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>",
