Using advanced machine learning, our platform transforms millions of cross-channel media signals into actionable intelligence — giving customers the context and clarity they need to detect threats early and respond effectively. About the Role PeakMetrics is seeking a Commercial Insights Analyst to deliver actionable intelligence from large-scale social and digital media data using the PeakMetrics platform for commercial customers. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, narrative judgment, and customer-facing insight delivery. This is not a business analyst, product analytics, revenue analytics, or customer success role. The focus is intelligence production within the PeakMetrics platform - building analytical workspaces, constructing Boolean queries, and synthesizing social and media data into decision-ready insights. You will operate with a high degree of analytical ownership, curiosity, and judgment in a fast-moving environment where signal clarity and narrative context matter more than raw volume. The scope and complexity of the work will grow as you develop expertise with the platform and customer use cases. What You’ll Do Build, manage, and refine customer-specific analytical workspaces within the PeakMetrics platform Construct, test, and iterate on Boolean queries in the PeakMetrics platform to capture relevant narratives Analyze social and digital media data surfaced by the platform to identify key narratives, trends, and amplification patterns Translate platform outputs into clear, prioritized insights for non-technical audiences Produce structured reports, briefs, presentations and visual storytelling artifacts based on PeakMetrics analysis Partner with Customer Success and Commercial teams to ensure insights align with customer goals Ask thoughtful questions to refine analysis and improve signal quality within the platform Explore data hands-on when needed, including lightweight manual analysis, to validate patterns and sharpen insight Continuously improve reporting clarity, relevance, and actionability through iteration Who We’re Looking For We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, especially those with experience or interest in intelligence-style analysis. You are a curious self-starter who enjoys digging into messy or ambiguous data, thinking creatively about how narratives form and spread, and helping others understand what the data actually means. Relevant Experience Includes: Social media intelligence, media monitoring, or narrative analysis roles Strategic communications, public affairs, corporate affairs, or brand intelligence Political or issue analysis roles transitioning into commercial intelligence work Research, analytics, or insights roles where synthesis and judgment were core responsibilities Required Qualifications 2–5 years of relevant professional experience Comfort working with quantitative metrics to identify patterns and trends Ability to distill complex platform outputs into clear, actionable insights Strong written communication skills for client or executive-facing audiences Familiarity with social media platforms and online discourse dynamics Ability to communicate insights verbally, visually, and in writing, tailored to the audience Comfort collaborating cross-functionally and interacting with customers as needed Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple analyses or workstreams simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with social listening, media monitoring, or intelligence platforms Familiarity with Boolean query construction or search logic Experience producing structured reports or briefs for external stakeholders Exposure to intelligence, research, or insights-driven workflows Interest in or exposure to LLMs and AI-assisted analysis Experience working in agency, consulting, or client-service environments Comfort experimenting with new analytical approaches or workflows Familiarity with common analytics or visualization tools (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards, presentation tools) What Success Looks Like Customers consistently receive insights that are clear, relevant, and decision-ready Reporting highlights the most important narrative or risk, not just the most data Analyses demonstrate strong narrative judgment and contextual awareness Customer-facing teams trust and rely on your insights to support retention and long-term value You operate effectively in a fast-moving startup environment, adapting to evolving customer needs and product capabilities You help define and improve how intelligence is produced and delivered as the company scales Benefits Remote-first culture Competitive compensation Health insurance, 401(k), and other benefits Flexible work schedule and unlimited time off Opportunities for professional growth and development A supportive, collegial team environment that values experimentation, learning, and thoughtful debate A vibrant and inclusive company culture PeakMetrics is an equal opportunity employer.
