They lead us to what matters most to our company: <em>creating a warm, caring, safe and professional environment for our customers and each other.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our culture of impassioned service delivery is the <em>Diversicare Difference</em>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>  Performs preventative maintenance and maintains maintenance records as instructed.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Perform building and equipment repairs, as per work order requests.</li>\n <li>Performs fire safety equipment tests under the guidance of the Regional Maintenance Director.</li>\n <li>Inspects building systems as scheduled and log findings.</li>\n <li>Coordinate maintenance services with department managers to ensure building and equipment performance without interruption.</li>\n <li>Performs basic carpentry, drywall, flooring and painting as required to maintain favorable building appearance.</li>\n <li>Maintains the building in good repair and in compliance with local, state and federal laws.</li>\n <li>Follows established safety rules and Policies & Procedures of building.</li>\n <li>Order equipment and supplies as necessary; and maintain proper records of repairs and purchases.</li>\n <li>May be required to drive for company business with either company vehicle personal vehicle</li>\n <li>Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>  Must have demonstrated HVAC repair experience.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Intermediate skillset in electric and plumbing repair highly desired.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of water heaters, generators commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration would be a plus but not required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretation.</li>\n <li>Completion of High School/GED education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.</li>\n <li>Basic computer literacy</li>\n <li>Positive attitude toward the elderly</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Diversicare is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
