They prepare infusion and TPN medications following USP 797 Guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS · Completion of High School diploma.
· CCAPP (Canadian Council of Accrediting Pharmacy Program) Accreditation as a Dispensary Assistant preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS · Completion of High School diploma. · CCAPP (Canadian Council of Accrediting Pharmacy Program) Accreditation as a Dispensary Assistant preferred. · Specialized Aseptic Technique training either on or off-site an asset. · Possesses and maintains relevant knowledge of USP 797 Standards and NAPRA standards. · Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations, meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Concentration is required to perform duties accurately and safely in a high activity environment. · Familiarity with Kroll Dispensing software is an asset. Physical Requirements · Spends the majority of the shift on feet, including standing and walking for extended periods. · Regularly lifts, pushes, pulls, carries, or moves objects of varying weights. · Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. · Performs physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching to move supplies or other items. · Answers phone calls and triages inquiries to the appropriate area. · Interacts regularly with customers, external agencies, healthcare providers, and team members. · Communicates through a variety of methods, including phone, in-person, and electronic channels. Work Environment · Works primarily in pharmacy and clean room settings. Required to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
